| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate learned with |

| regret of the death of William Carrol McIntire of Johnston City |
| 4 |
| who passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2007; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, He was born on July 27, 1941 in Pekin to David V. |
| 6 |
| and Myrie (Jewell) McIntire; he was united in marriage to |
| 7 |
| Marilyn (Biehl) on June 25, 1966 at Zion United Church of |
| 8 |
| Christ of Marion; and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, He worked as a pipe fitter and welder and was a |
| 10 |
| member of the Steamfitters Local 353 of Peoria; he was a |
| 11 |
| veteran of the Marine Corps, a devoted member of the Zion |
| 12 |
| United Church of Christ and enjoyed hunting and fishing; and
|
| 13 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of William Carrol McIntire has been |
| 14 |
| deeply felt by many, especially his wife, Marilyn; his |
| 15 |
| daughters, Andrea Scarbrough and husband, Timothy, and Nancy |
| 16 |
| Sander and husband, Erik; his grandchildren, Benjamin Sander |
| 17 |
| and Addison, Riley, Will, and Noah Scarbrough; his sisters, |
| 18 |
| Sharon Canamore and husband, Carlos, and Patricia Seyller and |
| 19 |
| husband, Bernard; his brother-in-law, Randall Lox and wife, |
| 20 |
| Jeanine; his nieces and nephews; and his dog, Widgeon; he was |
| 21 |
| preceded in death by his parents; therefore, be it
