| SENATE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to express |
| 3 |
| their sincere condolences to the family and friends of |
| 4 |
| Frederick P. Cappetta of Oak Brook, Illinois, who passed away |
| 5 |
| on November 24, 2006; and
|
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Cappetta was one of eight children; he was a |
| 7 |
| graduate of McKinley High School; he received a partial |
| 8 |
| scholarship from Northwestern University, but had to drop out |
| 9 |
| to help support his family; he returned to college and received |
| 10 |
| his Bachelor's degree in accounting from Roosevelt University |
| 11 |
| when he was in his early 60's; and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Cappetta was a graduate of Worsham College of |
| 13 |
| Mortuary Science in Chicago; he opened Cappetta Funeral Home |
| 14 |
| with his brother, Tony; in 1961 he became an owner of Columbian |
| 15 |
| Chapels in Oak Park; in 1994 he and his son-in-law opened |
| 16 |
| Cappetta & DiCanio Funeral Directors in Oak Brook; and
|
| 17 |
| WHEREAS, In 1987 Mr. Cappetta became the President of the |
| 18 |
| Illinois Funeral Directors Association; during this time he |
| 19 |
| took a group of fellow funeral directors to Italy, where he |
| 20 |
| visited the birthplace of his mother; and
|
| 21 |
| WHEREAS, Frederick P. Cappetta is survived by his son, |
