SENATE RESOLUTION


 
2
    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3
learn of the death of Don "Frog" Eubanks of Benton, who passed 
4
away on February 3, 2007; and

 
5
    WHEREAS, Mr. Eubanks was born June 9, 1935, in Rend City, 
6
the son of Fay Eubanks and Helen (Fletcher) Eubanks; he married 
7
the former Linda Mason on July 19, 1955; and

 
8
    WHEREAS, Mr. Eubanks was a retired Illinois State Police 
9
Trooper, serving for 27 years, and received the medal of valor 
10
award for his dedicated service; and

 
11
    WHEREAS, Don Eubanks was a member of the Fraternal Order of 
12
the State Police, and Immanuel Baptist Church in Benton; and

 
13
    WHEREAS, Don Eubanks loved sports, hunting, camping, and 
14
fishing; he was an avid St. Louis Cardinals and Benton Ranger 
15
fan, and  he also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren; 
16
and

 
17
    WHEREAS, Don Eubanks is survived by his wife, Linda 
18
Eubanks; his daughter, Debbie Clay; his sons, Ronald Eubanks 
19
and Doug Eubanks; his grandchildren, Carmen Rash, Alan Clay, 
20
Ryan Eubanks, Daniel Eubanks, and Nicole Lynn Eubanks; his

great-granddaughter, Aubrey Rash; his brothers, Wendell 
2
Eubanks and Larry Eubanks; and his many nieces and nephews;

Mr.

Eubanks was preceded in death by his parents; and a grandson, 
4
David Clay; therefore, be it

    RESOLVED, BY THE  SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL 
6
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
7
his family and friends, the passing of Don "Frog" Eubanks; and 
8
be it further

 
9
    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
10
presented to the family of Don Eubanks as a symbol of our 
11
sympathy.
