| SENATE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 |
| learn of the death of Lorraine Wendorf, who passed away on |
| 4 |
| January 12, 2007; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Lorraine Wendorf and her husband, Al, founded |
| 6 |
| Wisconsin Gasket Manufacturing Company in 1941 with the Gershke |
| 7 |
| and Erdman families; they retired to Hot Springs Village, |
| 8 |
| Arkansas in 1975; and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, Lorraine Wendorf was preceded in death by her |
| 10 |
| beloved husband, Albert; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, Lorraine Wendorf was the mother of Tom (Mickey), |
| 12 |
| Nile (Mila Tellez), and Fred (Mae) Wendorf; the loving |
| 13 |
| grandmother of Karl, Chris, Ashley, Laura, Sara, Briana |
| 14 |
| (Kevin), Sabrina (Chris), Kate (Mike), and Rani; the |
| 15 |
| great-grandmother of Alyssa, Lindsay, Ryan and Sydney; the |
| 16 |
| sister of Phil and Marge Thompson and the late Marion Jensen; |
| 17 |
| and the sister-in-law of Viola Schwartz and Lorain Williams; |
| 18 |
| she is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; |
| 19 |
| therefore, be it
