| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 |
| learn of the death of Norma Jeanne Stobaugh of Farmington, who |
| 4 |
| passed away on April 5, 2007; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Norma Jeanne Stobaugh was born on January 22, |
| 6 |
| 1932, in Peoria to E. Ellwood and Helen M. (Trenton) Paine; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, She married Cyril A. Bud Stobaugh Jr. on July 3, |
| 8 |
| 1954, in Peoria;
she was a 1954 graduate of Bradley University; |
| 9 |
| and
|
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, Norma Stobaugh was an elementary school teacher |
| 11 |
| for 22 years, teaching primarily at Limestone-Walters School, |
| 12 |
| and retiring in 1980; she was a member of St. Matthew's |
| 13 |
| Catholic Church and its Altar and Rosary Society, the |
| 14 |
| Farmington Women of the Moose, and the retired Teachers |
| 15 |
| Sorority Alpha Delta Kappa; her greatest joy was her |
| 16 |
| grandchildren; and
|
| 17 |
| WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her parents and one |
| 18 |
| son, James E. Stobaugh; and
|
| 19 |
| WHEREAS, Norma Stobaugh is survived by her husband, Cyril; |
| 20 |
| her two sons, Michael A. (Sherry) Stobaugh and Timothy J. |
