SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3 learn of the death of Norma Jeanne Stobaugh of Farmington, who
4 passed away on April 5, 2007; and
 
5     WHEREAS, Norma Jeanne Stobaugh was born on January 22,
6 1932, in Peoria to E. Ellwood and Helen M. (Trenton) Paine; and
 
7     WHEREAS, She married Cyril A. Bud Stobaugh Jr. on July 3,
8 1954, in Peoria; she was a 1954 graduate of Bradley University;
9 and
 
10     WHEREAS, Norma Stobaugh was an elementary school teacher
11 for 22 years, teaching primarily at Limestone-Walters School,
12 and retiring in 1980; she was a member of St. Matthew's
13 Catholic Church and its Altar and Rosary Society, the
14 Farmington Women of the Moose, and the retired Teachers
15 Sorority Alpha Delta Kappa; her greatest joy was her
16 grandchildren; and
 
17     WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her parents and one
18 son, James E. Stobaugh; and
 
19     WHEREAS, Norma Stobaugh is survived by her husband, Cyril;
20 her two sons, Michael A. (Sherry) Stobaugh and Timothy J.

1 (Janice) Stobaugh; her daughter, Patricia J. (Warren)
2 Tourangeau; and her grandchildren, David, Sarah, Ryan, Rachel,
3 Erica, and Marc; therefore, be it
 
4     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL
5 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
6 her family and friends, the passing of Norma Jeanne Stobaugh;
7 and be it further
 
8     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
9 presented to the family of Norma Jeanne Stobaugh as a symbol of
10 our sympathy.
