SENATE RESOLUTION

    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to  
3
learn of the death of
Norma C. Sullivan of Wellington, Ohio, 
4
who passed away on May 4, 2007; and

 
5
    WHEREAS, Norma C. Sullivan was born August 22, 1918, in 
6
Scranton, Pennsylvania; her parents were the late Joseph 
7
Raymond & Agnes Marie (nee McCrae) Dymond; and

 
8
    WHEREAS, Norma C. Sullivan moved to Cleveland, Ohio as a 
9
young girl and lived in Cleveland until moving to Wellington in 
10
1970; she was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in 
11
Wellington; she enjoyed raising horses, traveling, mystery 
12
novels, animals, and reunions with her husband's military 
13
battalion, Company C 128th Maintenance; and

 
14
    WHEREAS, Norma C. Sullivan was preceded in death by her 
15
grandson, Michael B. Sullivan; and her sister, Verna Zeka; and

 
16
    WHEREAS, Norma C. Sullivan is survived by her husband of 65 
17
years, Arthur R. Sullivan Jr.; her children, Mary Catherine 
18
Bryk, Nora Sullivan Koehler, Rae Anne Sullivan, Theresa M. 
19
Schramm, Arthur R. Sullivan, and Daniel P. Sullivan; and her 11 
20
grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; therefore, be it

    RESOLVED, BY THE  SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL 
2
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
3
her family and friends, the passing of Norma C. Sullivan; and 
4
be it further

 
5
    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6
presented to the family of Norma C. Sullivan as an expression 
7
of our sympathy.
