SENATE RESOLUTION


 
2
    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to  
3
learn of the death of
David Louis Brean of Waukegan, who passed 
4
away on February 20, 2007; and

 
5
    WHEREAS, David Louis Brean was born on November 8, 1943 in 
6
Waukegan; he remained a lifelong resident of Waukegan; his 
7
parents were Robert and Lottie (nee Lewandowski) Brean; and

 
8
    WHEREAS, David Louis Brean was a member of St. Patrick 
9
Parish in Wadsworth; he was an avid golfer, fisherman, and 
10
gardener; he especially loved to cook for his family and 
11
friends; he was a hairdresser in Lake Forest for 42 years until 
12
his retirement in 2002; and

 
13
    WHEREAS, David Louis Brean was preceded in death by his 
14
parents; and his brother, Robert; and

 
15
    WHEREAS, David Louis Brean is survived by his wife of 41 
16
years, Kay (nee Kesselring) Brean; his son, David E. (Karen) 
17
Brean; his grandson, Martin Brean; his granddaughter, Lily 
18
Katherine Brean; his sisters, Therese (Ray) and Madeline 
19
(Craig) Spice; and his nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

 
20
    RESOLVED, BY THE  SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL

ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with

his family and friends, the passing of David Louis Brean; and 
3
be it further

    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be

presented to the family of David Louis Brean as an expression 
6
of our sympathy.
