SENATE RESOLUTION

    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to  
3
learn of the death of
Lance B. Jubelt of Mount Olive, who 
4
passed away on May 21, 2007; and

 
5
    WHEREAS, Lance B. Jubelt was born January 19, 1956 in 
6
Litchfield; he is  the son of the late John Paul Jubelt and Iris 
7
Mae Dawkins; he married Trudy Marietta in September 1977 in 
8
Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Mount Olive; and

 
9
    WHEREAS, Lance B. Jubelt attended Mount Olive Grade School 
10
and graduated from Mount Olive High School with the class of 
11
1974; he graduated magna cum laude from Bradley University in 
12
Peoria with the class of 1977; he was president of Jubelts 
13
Bakery for 30 years; and

 
14
    WHEREAS, Lance B. Jubelt was a member of Zion Lutheran 
15
Church in Mount Olive and former member of the Mount Olive 
16
School Board; he was a former volunteer for the Mount Olive 
17
Ambulance; he was a county board member for many years and 
18
co-chairman of the sesquicentennial; he was an avid sports fan 
19
and loved the Cubs; and

 
20
    WHEREAS, Lance B. Jubelt was survived by his mother, Iris 
21
Mae Jubelt; his daughter, Kimberly Jubelt; his son, Nicholas

Brian Jubelt; and his sister, Jean Jubelt; therefore, be it

    RESOLVED, BY THE  SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL 
3
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
4
his family and friends, the passing of Lance B. Jubelt; and be 
5
it further

 
6
    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7
presented to the family of Lance B. Jubelt as an expression of 
8
our sympathy.
