SENATE RESOLUTION


 
2
    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3
learn of the death of Stanley A. Cisler, Jr. of  Staunton, who 
4
passed away on July 29, 2007; and

 
5
    WHEREAS, Stanley Cisler was born in Staunton on May 19, 
6
1925, the son of the late Stanley and Mathilda (Kosowski) 
7
Cisler; and

 
8
    WHEREAS, Stanley Cisler and Leona Bruhn were married on 
9
June 29, 1946 in Staunton; and

 
10
    WHEREAS, Stanley Cisler was an electrician for Olin 
11
Corporation for 44 years before his retirement in 1986; he was 
12
a farmer for over fifty years; he co-founded Cisler and 
13
Associates Real Estate Incorporated in 1990; and

 
14
    WHEREAS, Stanley Cisler was a member of St. Michael's 
15
Catholic Church, International Brotherhood of Electrical 
16
Workers, Croation Lodge, a past member of the Staunton Unit 
17
School Board of Education, and the Masonic Lodge; and

 
18
    WHEREAS, Stanley A. Cisler, Jr. was preceded in death by 
19
his wife, Leona; his parents; and his brother, Robert Cisler; 
20
he is survived by his sons, Stan D. (Marilyn), Dennis (Joy),

and David (Susan); his daughter, Kathy (Mark) Beatty; his nine 
2
grandchildren; and his sisters, Jean Rotsch and Violet Johnson; 
3
therefore, be it

    RESOLVED, BY THE  SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL 
5
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
6
his family and friends, the passing of Stanley A. Cisler, Jr.; 
7
and be it further

 
8
    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9
presented to the family of Stanley A. Cisler, Jr. as a symbol 
10
of our sympathy.
