SENATE RESOLUTION

    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3
learn of the death of Wilbur W. Williams of Seneca, who passed 
4
away on August 25, 2007; and

 
5
    WHEREAS, Wilbur Williams was born on September 21, 1936; he 
6
was the son of Albert and Edith (Gibson) Williams; he married 
7
Louise Barger on October 12, 1963; and

 
8
    WHEREAS, Mr. Williams was a truck driver for Yellow Freight 
9
out of the Worth Terminal; he retired in October 2004 after 
10
thirty years of service; and

 
11
    WHEREAS, He was a member of the First United Methodist 
12
Church in Seneca and the Moose Lodge; and

 
13
    WHEREAS, Wilbur Williams was preceded in death by his wife; 
14
his parents; his grandson, Christopher Kuntzelman; his 
15
brothers, Eldon, Tom, Dick, Charlie, and two in infancy; and 
16
his sister, Alice Doss; and

 
17
    WHEREAS, The passing of Wilbur Williams will be deeply felt 
18
by all who knew and loved him, especially his daughters, 
19
Cynthia (Scott) Kuntzelman, and Cary (Greg) Williams; his son, 
20
Wayne (Angela) Williams; his grandchildren, Ryan and Wade

Kuntzelman, and Caetlin and Shannon Williams; his sister, Jean

(Pete) Troxel; and his brothers, Bill (Verda) Williams and Don

(Nancy) Williams; therefore, be it

    RESOLVED, BY THE  SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL 
5
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
6
his family and friends, the passing of Wilbur W. Williams; and 
7
be it further

 
8
    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9
presented to the family of Wilbur W. Williams as a symbol of 
10
our sympathy.
