SENATE RESOLUTION

    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to  
3
learn of the death of
Dale E. Studnicki of Wood River, who 
4
passed away on December 25, 2007; and

 
5
    WHEREAS, Dale E. Studnicki was born on April 14, 1957 in 
6
Alton; his parents were Henry and Delores (Dudley) Studnicki; 
7
and

 
8
    WHEREAS, Dale E. Studnicki was a former employee with 
9
Environmental Services of the former Wood River Township 
10
Hospital and Challenge Unlimited in Alton; and

 
11
    WHEREAS, Dale E. Studnicki was a member of Holy Angels 
12
Parish; and

 
13
    WHEREAS, Dale E. Studnicki was an avid Cardinals baseball 
14
fan; he collected memorabilia, attended spring training 
15
sessions, and watched or listened to games every chance he got; 
16
he was also an avid fan of the athletic teams of East 
17
Alton-Wood River High School for many years; and

 
18
    WHEREAS, Dale E. Studnicki was preceded in death by his 
19
niece, Rachel Hayes; and

    WHEREAS, Dale E. Studnicki is survived by his sister, Carol 
2
(Craig) Hayes; his brothers, Mark (Brenda) Studnicki and Terry 
3
(Roberta) Studnicki; his nieces and nephews, Kerry Studnicki, 
4
Jeremie Studnicki, Misty Studnicki, Joshua Studnicki, Andrew 
5
Studnicki, Megan Hayes, Tyler Hayes, Ryan Hayes, and Amanda 
6
(Steve) McNamer; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, 
7
Jordan Hendricks, Justice Hendricks, and Blake Thompson; 
8
therefore, be it

 
9
    RESOLVED, BY THE  SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL 
10
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
11
his family and friends, the passing of Dale E. Studnicki; and 
12
be it further

 
13
    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
14
presented to the family of Dale E. Studnicki as an expression 
15
of our sympathy.
