| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |

| learn of the death of
Walter J. Quinlan; and

| WHEREAS, Walter J. Quinlan served in the United States Army |
| 5 |
| during World War II; and
|
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, Walter J. Quinlan was the beloved husband of the |
| 7 |
| late Shirley (nee Kincaid); the loving father of Michael |
| 8 |
| (Kathleen), Patricia (Debbie), Kevin (Cynthia), and Carolyn |
| 9 |
| (Edward) Haywood; the dear grandfather of Christopher |
| 10 |
| (Jennifer), Kathryn (John), Kyle, Colleen, Bailey, Shane, |
| 11 |
| Shannon, Dylan, and Quinn; the dearest great-grandfather of |
| 12 |
| Samantha and Alyssa; the fond brother of Joseph (Mary Kay), |
| 13 |
| Cyril (Marlou), and the late Florence, Beatrice, John, Thomas, |
| 14 |
| William, Raymond, and Gerald; and the cherished uncle of many |
| 15 |
| nieces and nephews; and
|
| 16 |
| WHEREAS, Walter J. Quinlan's love of life and ability to |

| live it to the fullest endeared him to his family members, |
| 18 |
| friends, and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their |

| lives in ways they will never forget; therefore, be it
