| SENATE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 |
| learn of the death of Tressa (DeMattei) Sevenski of Benton, who |
| 4 |
| passed away on March 4, 2008; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, She was born October 4, 1917, in Benton, the |
| 6 |
| daughter of Louis DeMattei and Louise (Airaghi) DeMattei; she |
| 7 |
| married Joseph Sevenski on November 11, 1940; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, She retired as a secretary for the Benton Grade |
| 9 |
| School District and later for Farm Supply in Benton; she was a |
| 10 |
| member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Benton; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, Mrs. Sevenski was preceded in death by her |
| 12 |
| parents; her husband; her five brothers, Michael, Robert, John, |
| 13 |
| Lester, and Joseph DeMattei; and her sister, Rosa Dill; and
|
| 14 |
| WHEREAS, Tressa Sevenski is survived by her two sons, |
| 15 |
| Michael Sevenski and wife, Donna, and Stephen Sevenski and |
| 16 |
| wife, Deloris; her three grandchildren, David Sevenski and |
| 17 |
| wife, Pam, Jennifer Myre and husband, Randy, and Scott |
| 18 |
| Sevenski; her six great-grandchildren, Sean and Seth Sevenski, |
| 19 |
| and Matthew, Michael, Cameron, and Carly Myre; as well as |
| 20 |
| several nieces, nephews, and cousins; therefore, be it
