| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 |
| learn of the death of Edward Hallinan of Chicago, who passed |
| 4 |
| away on November 8, 2007; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, He was born on May 23, 1934 and was from County |
| 6 |
| Mayo in Ireland; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, He was an employee of Peoples' Energy for |
| 8 |
| thirty-four years; and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, He was known as a strong advocate of labor; and
|
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, Edward Hallinan was the beloved husband of Sharon, |
| 11 |
| nee Cobb; the loving father of Lynn (John) Kriho, Monica |
| 12 |
| (Robert) Pletan, and Shawn (Sheila) Hallinan of the Chicago |
| 13 |
| Police Department; and he was the dear grandfather of Shaina, |
| 14 |
| Kyle, Kayla, Ryan, Erin, and Colin; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL |
| 16 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with |
| 17 |
| his family and friends, the passing of Edward Hallinan; and be |
| 18 |
