| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 |
| learn of the death of Donald A. Bodtke of El Cajon, California, |
| 4 |
| formerly of Carlinville, who passed away on April 29, 2008; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, He was born March 24, 1964, in Belleville, the son |
| 6 |
| of Ron and Betty Bodtke; he married Jennifer Ann Arnaiz in |
| 7 |
| Santee, California; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, He was a 1982 graduate of Carlinville High School |
| 9 |
| and served four years in the United States Marine Corps |
| 10 |
| F.A.S.T. Company; and he was active in Christ Lutheran's Men's |
| 11 |
| Bible Study Group; and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, He enjoyed golf and was a St. Louis Cardinals fan; |
| 13 |
| and
|
| 14 |
| WHEREAS, Donald Bodtke is survived by his wife, Jennifer |
| 15 |
| Ann; his sons, Christian Paul Ortiz and Maxwell Ian Bodtke; his |
| 16 |
| daughter, Hailee Madison Bodtke; his parents, Ron and Fay |
| 17 |
| Bodtke and Willis and Betty Crawford; his brothers, Ron, Jim, |
| 18 |
| and Dan Bodtke; his sisters, Deborah Mefford, Becky Sanson, and |
| 19 |
| Abby Kunz; and several nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
