SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of JoAnn F. Soave of Crest Hill, who passed away on June 14, 2008; and

WHEREAS, JoAnn F. Soave (nee Seeman) was retired from the Crest Hill Police Department, where she worked as a radio dispatcher for over 30 years; and

WHEREAS, She was a former member of the Crest Hill Lions Club; she had spent her retired years enjoying her time with family; JoAnn was a kind, loving, caring person and will be greatly missed by many; and

WHEREAS, JoAnn Soave was preceded in death by her parents, LeRoy and Minnie Seeman, and her loving daughter, Vicki Schumann; and

WHEREAS, JoAnn Soave was the beloved sister of Dolores (Raymond) Bertino, Donald (Ellen Birsa), and Sharon (late James) Harrier; the loving mother of David (Paula Heintz), Daryl, Douglas (Al Papa), Master Sergeant Dennis (Diane Gecan), and son-in-law, Donald Schumann; the proud, loving grandmother of Stephanie Soave, Danielle and Michael Schumann, and Amanda and Troy Blank; the loving godmother to Lynn Bertino Neville; and loving aunt and cousin to numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of JoAnn Soave; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of JoAnn Soave as a symbol of our sincere sympathy.
