SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Neda Roscich (nee Pivac) of Burbank, who passed away on June 28, 2008; and

WHEREAS, Neda Roscich was the beloved daughter of Stephan and Marica (nee Grujica) Pivac and the cherished wife of the late John Roscich; and

WHEREAS, She was a retired warrant processor with the Cook County Sheriff's Department/Bridgeview Courthouse and a member of the St. Jerome Croatian Catholic Church, the St. Jerome Croatian Catholic Church Choir, the Altar Rosary Society, St. Theresa Lodge, and Club Sinj; and she was a founding member of Club Poljica, The Croatian Catholic Union, and the Croatian Fraternal Union; and

WHEREAS, Neda Roscich was the devoted mother of Anthony (Diana) Roscich, John (Carolyn) Roscich, and the late Michael Roscich; she was the loving sister of Michael (Lucy) Bratich, the late Ann (late William) Altieri, the late Frances (late Steve) LaMonica, and the late John Pivac; she was the dear grandmother of Deborah (Gary) Morrison and David (Rebecca) Roscich; she was the precious great-grandmother of Logan, Ellie, and Kate Morrison and Griffin, Brooke, Carly, and Grant Roscich; and she was the fond aunt to numerous nieces and nephews and a friend to many; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Neda Roscich; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Neda Roscich as a symbol of our sincere sympathy.
