| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |

| learn of the death of
Amelia Rose "Amy" Phelps; and

| WHEREAS, Amelia Phelps served as a Eucharistic Minister at |
| 5 |
| the St. Louis de Montfort Church; and
|
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, Amelia Phelps was the beloved wife of Kenneth D.; |
| 7 |
| the loving mother of Michael (Lynda), Jean (Robert) Matyskiel, |
| 8 |
| Margaret Abel, Mildred Phelps, Dorothy (John) Rosier, and |
| 9 |
| Wallace (Jonna); the dear grandmother of Michael (Amanda), |
| 10 |
| Jonathan (Jamie), Frank, Michelle, Kimberly, Ryan, and Paul; |
| 11 |
| the dearest great-grandmother of Austin and Madelyn; the |
| 12 |
| cherished sister of the late Robert Dabicci; the fond |
| 13 |
| sister-in-law of Marilyn; and the loving mother-in-law of Mark |
| 14 |
| Klein and Joseph Berardi; and

| 15 |
| WHEREAS, Amelia Phelps' love of life and ability to live it |
| 16 |
| to the fullest endeared her to her family members, friends, and |
| 17 |
| all who knew her, and enabled her to enrich their lives in ways |

| they will never forget; therefore, be it

| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with |

| her family and friends, the passing of Amelia Rose "Amy" |
