| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |

| learn of the death of Marie M. Hedrick of Fox Lake, who passed |
| 4 |
| away on September 28, 2008; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, She was born in Germany to William and Susan (nee |
| 6 |
| Fruehauf) Gruber on January 12, 1930; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, Marie was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, baking, |
| 8 |
| and making soups from scratch; and she loved spending time with |
| 9 |
| her grandchildren; and
|
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her husband, George |
| 11 |
| R. Hedrick; her sons, George G. and William Hedrick; and her |
| 12 |
| grandson, William Hedrick Jr.; and
|
| 13 |
| WHEREAS, Marie Hedrick is survived by her son, Charles |
| 14 |
| (Faith) Hedrick; her daughters-in-law, Margaret and Deborah |
| 15 |
| Hedrick; her grandchildren, Amanda (Dan) Dunskis, George J. |
| 16 |
| Hedrick, Charlene Hedrick, Sherry (Ryan) Pardue, Vincent |
| 17 |
| Hedrick, Kayleigh Jackson, Jessica Hedrick, and Alisha |
| 18 |
| Hedrick; and her great-grandchildren, Alison, Angelina, and |

| Madelyn Dunskis, and Grace Pardue; therefore, be it
