Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Private Sewage Disposal Licensing Act. Provides that all fees collected under the Act must be deposited into the Private Sewage Disposal Program Fund. Amends the State Finance Act. Provides that the Private Sewage Disposal Program Fund is listed among the special funds. Effective immediately.

House Floor Amendment No. 1
In a provision concerning the Private Sewage Disposal Program Fund, provides that the money from the Fund shall be used by the Department to administer grants under the Act in addition to certain other activities.

Senate Floor Amendment No. 1
Replaces everything after the enacting clause with the engrossed bill with the following changes. Deletes language that provides that, subject to appropriation, monies from the Private Sewage Disposal Program Fund shall be used for establishing and maintaining a tracking program for private sewage disposal systems and maintenance requirements for these systems, supporting private sewage disposal education and training, and administering grants. Effective immediately.
