Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Tobacco Accessories and Smoking Herbs Control Act. Provides that no person shall knowingly sell, distribute, or offer for sale or distribution in this State or to any person in this State a flavored cigarette.

House Committee Amendment No. 1
Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Tobacco Accessories and Smoking Herbs Control Act. Provides that it is a Class C misdemeanor to knowingly sell, distribute, or offer for sale or distribution in this State any smokeable tobacco product or any component part thereof which contains a constituent (including a smoke constituent) or additive or artificial or natural flavoring that produces a characterizing flavor. Provides that these provisions do not apply to the sale, distribution, or offering for sale or distribution in this State of any cigar with a pre-tax retail price of $3 or more.
