Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Children's Product Safety Act. Provides that a recall or warning notice may be posted in an electronic format. Effective immediately.

Senate Committee Amendment No. 1
Deletes everything after the enacting clause and reinserts similar provisions with the following changes. Provides that a retailer may post a recall or warning notice in an electronic format if the retailer posts a physical sign that clearly and conspicuously discloses the location of recall or warning notices within the retail store. Requires an electronic display to provide on its main page a direct link to the recall or warning notice if the recall or warning notice itself is not featured on the main page of the electronic display. Further provides that a recall or warning notice must remain posted for 120 days; 240 days in the case of a recall or warning notice concerning a full-size crib, a non-full-size crib, a toddler bed, a car seat, a high chair, a bath seat, a play yard, a stationary activity center, an infant carrier, a stroller, a walker, a swing, a bassinet, or a cradle. Effective immediately.
