Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the MRSA Screening and Reporting Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the short title.

House Floor Amendment No. 1

	Deletes reference to:
	210 ILCS 83/1

	Adds reference to:
	210 ILCS 85/3

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Hospital Licensing Act. Includes in the definition of "hospital", buildings on a campus. Sets forth a definition for the terms "campus" and "location". Effective immediately.

Senate Committee Amendment No. 1

	Adds reference to:
	210 ILCS 85/4.6

Deletes everything after the enacting clause and reinserts the engrossed bill with the following changes. Deletes the term "location" from the definition of "campus". Further amends the Hospital Licensing Act to provide that each hospital building or facility that is (i) located on the campus of the licensee but on a site that is not attached to the main hospital building of the campus, (ii) operated by the licensee, and (iii) provides inpatient services to patients shall individually comply with the Department of Public Health's hospital licensing requirements for emergency services. Makes other changes. Effective immediately.
