Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the State Employee Article of the Illinois Pension Code. Provides the alternative (State police) retirement formula for certain sign hangers and sign hanger foremen employed by the Department of Transportation. Provides that the changes apply to persons in service on or after June 28, 2001. Includes language concerning new benefit increases. Effective immediately.

Senate Committee Amendment No. 1

	Deletes reference to:

	Adds reference to:
	40 ILCS 5/14-101	from Ch. 108 1/2, par. 14-101

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Illinois Pension Code. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning State employees.
