Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides for the issuance of special State University Police license plates for vehicles owned by a State university or State university police force.

	Deletes reference to:

	Adds reference to:
	625 ILCS 5/3-808.1	from Ch. 95 1/2, par. 3-808.1

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides that beginning with the 2011 registration year, vehicles owned by public universities in this State and operated by public university police departments shall be issued permanent vehicle registration plates at no charge. Makes a technical change.
