Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the State Finance Act. Provides that conservation practice cost-share grants from the Partners for Conservation Fund may be made to livestock operations. Effective July 1, 2010.

House Committee Amendment No. 1
Clarifies that the grants authorized by the introduced bill will be cost-share grants. Specifies that moneys in the Partners for Conservation Fund and the Partners for Conservation Projects Fund that are used to foster sustainable agriculture practices and control soil erosion and sedimentation shall be used, among other things, for Soil and Water Conservation District personnel expenses (rather than personnel expenses).
