Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Department of Human Services Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the legislative purpose of the Act.

Senate Floor Amendment No. 1
Deletes reference to:

Adds reference to:
20 ILCS 1305/1-35 new

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Department of Human Services Act. Provides that, notwithstanding any prohibition by any state or federal privacy law provisions, the Department of Human Services shall execute any data sharing intergovernmental agreements as requested by any state, municipal, or local government agency. Such requests shall be directed to the Secretary or his or her designee, and the agreement shall be executed expeditiously per an intergovernmental agreement. The Department's databases that would be subject to such a database sharing agreement may include the DHS Client Database, the DHS Child Care Tracking System, the Cornerstone Database, and any other database commonly used by the Department. Effective immediately.

Deletes everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Hemophilia Care Act. Requires the Director of Healthcare and Family Services (now, Director of Public Health) to establish the Hemophilia Advisory Review Board; requires the Department of Healthcare and Family Services (now, Department of Public Health) to provide the Board with services cooperatively with Hemophilia Transplant Centers. Removes the restriction on the number of voting members of the Board affiliated with the same political party. Effective immediately.
