Amends the Commission on the Elimination of Poverty Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the short title.

Deletes everything after the enacting clause. Replaces a provision that required the Department of Human Services to provide administrative support to the Commission with a provision requiring the Office of the Governor or a designee of the Governor's choosing to provide administrative support to the Commission. Provides that the Commission's interim report shall be due on December 1, 2009 instead of March 1, 2009. Provides that the Commission shall adopt a strategic plan by April 1, 2010 instead of January 1, 2010. Requires annual reports to be issued by September 1st of each year after 2010 rather than by March 1st of each year. Effective immediately.
