Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Counties Code. Provides that each county shall have the power to purchase, hold, sell, convey, or lease any real estate within the county necessary to administer or fund a Neighborhood Stabilization Program. Effective immediately.

Deletes reference to:
55 ILCS 5/5-1005
Adds reference to:
55 ILCS 5/5-1131 new

Deletes everything after the enacting clause. Authorizes the county board of a county with more than 500,000 residents to use county funds to sell, lease, or exchange property held by the county. Deletes a provision concerning the administration or funding of a Neighborhood Stabilization Program.
