Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Illinois Governmental Ethics Act. Permits the Secretary of State and county clerks to waive fees and penalties when a person files a statement of economic interests late, or fails to file the statement, due to his or her serious or catastrophic illness or military service. Effective immediately.
