Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Illinois Horse Racing Act of 1975. In provisions limiting locations of inter-track wagering location facilities, specifies that the schools that the facilities may not be located near are elementary or secondary public or private schools recognized by the State Board of Education. Effective immediately.

Governor Amendatory Veto Message
Recommends that the Video Gaming Act be amended to change the signature requirement for referendums to prohibit video gaming within a municipality or county from 25% of the legal voters of that municipality or county to 11% of the total ballots cast of the registered voters of the municipality, township, or county in the last regular election conducted in the municipality, township, or county.
