Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the IMRF Article of the Illinois Pension Code to add regional councils of government to the list of entities permitted to participate in the Fund as participating instrumentalities. Effective immediately.

Senate Committee Amendment No. 1
Removes regional councils of government and adds the United Counties Council (formerly the Urban Counties Council), but only if the Council has a ruling from the United States Internal Revenue Service that it is a governmental entity, to the list of entities permitted to participate in the Fund as a participating instrumentality.

Senate Floor Amendment No. 2
Makes a technical change.
