Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Associate Judges Act. Adds 2 associate judgeships in the 16th judicial circuit (Kane, DeKalb, and Kendall counties). Effective immediately.

705 ILCS 45/2.3 new

Deletes everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Circuit Courts Act. Adds one additional Kane County resident judgeship in the 16th judicial circuit, to be filled by appointment until being filled by election in November 2010. Amends the Associate Judges Act. Adds one additional associate judge in each of the 16th and 17th judicial circuits. Effective immediately.
