Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Emergency Telephone System Act. Provides that moneys in the Emergency Telephone System Fund may be used to purchase automatic external defibrillators, subject to certain restrictions. Effective immediately.

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Creates the Massac-Metropolis Port District Act. Sets forth the territory of the District. Provides that the District shall be governed by a 7-member Board. Sets forth the appointment and terms of the Board members. Sets forth the powers and duties of the District, including the power to issue certain permits, the power to locate, establish, and maintain a public airport, the power to acquire certain property, the power of eminent domain, and the power to issue bonds. Contains other provisions. Amends the Eminent Domain Act to make conforming changes. Effective immediately.
