Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the School Code. In provisions concerning the debt limitations of school districts, provides that in addition to all other authority to issue bonds, West Washington County Community Unit School District 10 may issue bonds with an aggregate principal amount not to exceed $32,200,000 and maturing over a period not exceeding 30 years, but only if all of specified conditions are met. Provides that the debt incurred on any bonds issued under specified provisions shall not be considered indebtedness for purposes of any statutory debt limitation. Effective immediately.

Senate Committee Amendment No. 1
Changes language to provide that in addition to all other authority to issue bonds, West Washington County Community Unit School District 10 may issue bonds with an aggregate principal amount not to exceed $32,200,000 and maturing over a period not exceeding 25 years (instead of 30 years), but only if all of specified conditions are met.

Senate Committee Amendment No. 2
Provides that the proceeds of the bonds must be used to accomplish only those projects approved by the voters at an election held on or after February 2, 2010 (instead of February 2, 2009).
