Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the School Code. In provisions concerning the account of expenditures for programs in transitional bilingual education, provides that at least 60% of bilingual funding must be used for instructional costs.

House Floor Amendment No. 1
Provides that at least 60% of transitional bilingual education funding received from the State must be used for the instructional costs of transitional bilingual education (instead of requiring at least 60% of bilingual funding to be used for instructional costs).
