Synopsis As Introduced
Designates Interstate 88, the portions of Interstate 55 and Interstate 80 from Chicago to the Quad Cities, Interstate 74 to Galesburg, U.S. Route 34 to Monmouth, U.S. Route 67 to Macomb, Illinois 336 to Interstate 172 at Quincy, Interstate 172 to Interstate 72, and Interstate 72 to the crossing of the Mississippi River at Hannibal, Missouri as the Illinois portion of the Chicago - Kansas City Expressway.

House Floor Amendment No. 1
Changes the portions of interstates that make up the Illinois portion of the Chicago - Kansas City Expressway. Requests the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority, in addition to the Illinois Department of Transportation, to erect signs displaying the approved Chicago - Kansas City Expressway logo and Illinois Route 110. Removes provision for route markers at every route concerning signs for the Chicago - Kansas City Expressway. Adds the Executive Director of the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority to the list of persons receiving a copy of the resolution.
