AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 496

    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 496 on page 16, by

replacing lines 11 and 12 with the following:
4
"and to divide the fee for such service, provided that the 
5
patient has full"; and
 
6
on page 18, by deleting lines 24 through 26; and
 
7
on page 19, by deleting lines 1 through 4; and
 
8
on page 28, by replacing line 19 with the following:
9
"part by Illinois-licensed physicians or in accordance with 
10
Section 8 of this Act; or"; and
 
11
on page 30, by replacing lines 10 through 16 with the 
12
following:

    "(g)  Nothing contained in this Section prohibits the 
14
payment of rent or other remunerations paid to an individual,

partnership, or corporation by a licensee for the lease, 
2
rental, or use of space, owned or controlled by the individual, 
3
partnership, corporation, or association.

    (h) Nothing contained in this Section prohibits the 
5
payment, at no more than fair market value, to an individual, 
6
partnership, or corporation by a licensee for the use of staff, 
7
administrative services, franchise agreements, marketing 
8
required by franchise agreements, or equipment owned or 
9
controlled by the individual, partnership, or corporation, or 
10
the receipt thereof by a licensee.".
