    Amends the Illinois Insurance Code.  Provides that any company issuing a policy of automobile insurance must print the amount of the insured's deductible on the insurer-provided insurance card.

    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The Illinois Insurance Code is amended  by adding

Section 143.13b as follows:

    (215 ILCS 5/143.13b new)

    Sec. 143.13b. Deductible on insurance card. Any company 
8
issuing a policy of automobile insurance must print the amount 
9
of the insured's deductible on the insurer-provided insurance 
10
card.
