| AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 562 as follows:

| on page 1, line 21, immediately after "Welfare.", by inserting |
| 4 |
| "However, the Department of Children and Family Services may |
| 5 |
| not discipline an Investigation Specialist, an Intact Family |
| 6 |
| Specialist, or a Placement Specialist for failing to make such |
| 7 |
| a report if the Specialist determines that making the report |
| 8 |
| would interfere with the performance of his or her child |
| 9 |
| welfare protection duties."; and
|
| 10 |
| on page 9, line 21, immediately after "Welfare.", by inserting |
