| AN ACT concerning local government.
|

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 |
| Section 5. The Metropolitan Water Reclamation District Act |
| 5 |
| is amended by changing Section 4.17 as follows:
|
| 6 |
| (70 ILCS 2605/4.17) (from Ch. 42, par. 323.17)
|

| Sec. 4.17.
Said civil service board shall, on or before the |
| 8 |
| 31st 15th day of
January of each year, make to the trustees a |
| 9 |
| report showing its own action,
the rules in force, the |
| 10 |
| practical effects thereof and any suggestions it
may approve |
| 11 |
| for the more effectual accomplishment of the purposes of this
|
| 12 |
| Act. The trustees may require a report from said civil service |
| 13 |
| board at any
time.

| Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
| 16 |
| becoming law.
