| 1 | AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 751

| 2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 751 by replacing | ||||||
| 3 | lines 20 through 26 on page 10 and line 1 on page 11 with the | ||||||
| 4 | following: | ||||||
| 5 | "(c) In determining whether any net proceeds are realized | ||||||
| 6 | from a sale of real estate described in subsection (a) or (b), | ||||||
| 7 | the Division of Developmental Disabilities and the Division of | ||||||
| 8 | Mental Health of the Department of Human Services shall each | ||||||
| 9 | determine the money, if any, that shall be made available to | ||||||
| 10 | ensure that life, safety, and care concerns, including | ||||||
| 11 | infrastructure, are addressed so as to provide for persons with | ||||||
| 12 | developmental disabilities or mental illness at the remaining | ||||||
| 13 | respective State-operated facilities that will be expected to | ||||||
| 14 | serve the individuals previously served at the closed | ||||||
| 15 | facility.".
