| AN ACT concerning State government.

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|

| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Department of Public Health Powers and |

| Duties Law of the
Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is |

| amended by adding Section 2310-306 as follows:

| Sec. 2310-306. Telemedicine brochure. The Department of |
| 9 |
| Public Health, subject to appropriation, shall develop, |
| 10 |
| publish, and disseminate a brochure to educate the general |
| 11 |
| public on the use and availability in Illinois of telemedicine |
| 12 |
| and the advantages of telemedicine in providing access to |
| 13 |
| medical care in rural areas and in medically underserved areas.
