| 1 | AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1142

| 2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 1142 on page 1, by | ||||||
| 3 | replacing lines 13 through 21 with the following:

| 4 | ""Manufactured home" means a manufactured home as defined | ||||||
| 5 | in 77 Ill. Adm. Code 880.10. The term "manufactured home" shall | ||||||
| 6 | not include a modular dwelling, which is defined as a building | ||||||
| 7 | assembly, or system of building sub-assemblies, designed for | ||||||
| 8 | habitation as a dwelling for one or more persons, including the | ||||||
| 9 | necessary electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilating, and | ||||||
| 10 | other service systems that is of closed or open construction | ||||||
| 11 | and is made or assembled by a manufacturer, on or off the | ||||||
| 12 | building site, for installation, or assembly and installation, | ||||||
| 13 | on the building site with a permanent foundation.".
