| AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1196
|

| AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 1196 on page 2, by |
| 3 |
| replacing lines 3 through 8 with the following: |
| 4 |
| "The Healthcare Provider Relief Fund is not subject to |
| 5 |
| administrative charges or charge-backs, including, but not |
| 6 |
| limited to, those authorized under Section 8h of the State |
| 7 |
| Finance Act."; and

| 8 |
| on page 3, by replacing lines 12 through 14 with the following: |
| 9 |
| "the Long-Term Care Provider Fund; 27.5% of the moneys received |
| 10 |
| by the Department under this Act shall be paid into the |
| 11 |
| Healthcare Provider Relief Fund; and 27.5% of the moneys |
| 12 |
| received under this Act shall be remitted to the Illinois |
| 13 |
| Department of Public Health for support of tobacco prevention, |
| 14 |
| cessation, and control programs in accordance with the Centers |
| 15 |
| for Disease Control and Prevention's 2007 Best Practices for |
| 16 |
| Comprehensive Tobacco Control Programs.".
