| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 |
| Section 5. The Toll Highway Act is amended by changing |
| 5 |
| Section 9.25 as follows:
|
| 6 |
| (605 ILCS 10/9.25)
|
| 7 |
| Sec. 9.25. Comparable replacement dwelling; additional or |
| 8 |
| supplemental
housing payment. Whenever the
the cost of a
|

| comparable replacement dwelling is greater than what the |
| 10 |
| Authority paid the
property owner, the Authority shall provide |
| 11 |
| additional or supplemental housing
payments. No person shall be |
| 12 |
| required to move from a dwelling unless
comparable replacement |
| 13 |
| housing is available to the person.
The total of additional or |
| 14 |
| supplemental housing payments to a property owner
under this |
| 15 |
| Section shall not exceed $25,000. |
