| AN ACT concerning transportation.

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Illinois Highway Code is amended by changing |
| 5 |
| Section 5-701 as follows:
|

| Sec. 5-701.
Money allotted from the
the Motor Fuel Tax Fund |

| to the several
counties as provided in Section 8 of the "Motor |

| Fuel Tax Law", approved
March 25, 1929, as now or hereafter |

| amended, other than money allotted to
counties for the use of |

| road districts, shall be used only for one or more

| purposes stated in Sections 5-701.1 through 5-701.16, as the |

counties may desire. |
