| AN ACT concerning transportation.
|
| 2 |
| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 |
| Section 5. The Illinois Aeronautics Act is amended by |
| 5 |
| changing Section 11 as follows:
|
| 6 |
| (620 ILCS 5/11) (from Ch. 15 1/2, par. 22.11)

| Sec. 11.
"Operation of aircraft" or "operate aircraft" |
| 8 |
| means the
the use of
aircraft for the purpose of air |
| 9 |
| navigation, and includes the navigation or
piloting of |
| 10 |
| aircraft. Any person who causes or authorizes the operation of
|
| 11 |
| aircraft, whether with or without the right of legal control |
| 12 |
| (in the
capacity of owner, lessee, or otherwise) of the |
| 13 |
| aircraft, shall be deemed
to be engaged in the operation of |
| 14 |
| aircraft within the meaning of the
statutes of this State. |
