    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 2245 on page 7, by

inserting immediately below line 12 the following:

    "The changes made to this Section by this amendatory Act of 
5
the 96th General Assembly apply to actions commenced or pending 
6
on or after the effective date of this amendatory Act of the 
7
96th General Assembly.".
