| Sec. 27-22.4. Community service requirement; pilot |
17 |
| program. In J. Sterling Morton High School District 201, as a |
18 |
| prerequisite to receiving a high school diploma, each pupil |
19 |
| entering the 9th grade in the 2010-2011 school year or |
20 |
| 2011-2012 school year must complete at least 40 hours of |
21 |
| community service. This requirement does not apply to children |
22 |
| with disabilities, as defined under Article 14 of this Code, or |
23 |
| pupils involved in extra-curricular activities, the number of |
24 |
| activities to be determined by the school board. The school |
25 |
| board shall establish any rules and procedures necessary to |
